Since it was our question, thought might as well try and answer: We're a median system composed of two 'kin (and maybe some nebulous other stuff?) who are both (or collectively?) agender. While we don't think the two have a causal relationship, our gender ID and nonhuman ID each influence the way we conceptualise the other. And questioning our gender led to/made us more open to questioning our (non)human-ness, which then reinforced our gender. Also have a cis human headmate for comparison =P
